Rope Around the Neck

After murdering his lover, Léo Longpré goes on the run, drifting aimlessly. He seeks out a farmer he thinks is on his side, leaving a path of destruction with every encounter. Through a series of well-crafted flashbacks, we see glimpses of the troubled life of this deranged killer, who is eventually tracked down and cornered by the police.
