After surviving execution by arrows during Emperor Diocletian’s persecution of Christians, Sebastian is nursed back to health by Irene of Rome, only to be killed later by his enemies. Legend claims he has since returned every 60 years, living as Augustus, a vengeful spirit driven by Irene’s blood. When he charms a modern-day Irene with his sophistication, his growing aggression repels her, but Sebastian will stop at nothing to claim her blood or her love, eliminating anyone who stands in his way.
