David Beck's (Francois Cluzet) wife has been murdered 8 years ago but he has now rebuilt his life, altough he has never forgotten her. He finished medical school and established himself as a pediatrician. On the anniversary of their first date Beck receives a mysterious e-mail. This message makes him wonder if his wife Marion (Marie-Josie Croze) is still alive. As the FBI appears and suspects him to be the offender, David starts investigating the circumstances of the old case...
