The intense love story between Elise and Didier. She runs her own tattoo shop and he is a Flemish cowboy playing the banjo in a small band. It's love at first sight for them... although they are poles apart. Chalk and cheese, completely different and yet perfectly compatible. When their daughter Maybelle is born, their happiness is complete. Then tragedy strikes and Maybelle dies. Didier loses himself in anger and Elise seeks comfort.
