The Eruption

In an arid oil field, aspiring Anca arrives from the city to meet the exodus of townspeople abandoning the remaining workers in their last attempt to drill for the oil that is to revitalize the region. Assigned to join statuesque lead-engineer Barbu, Anca's presence stokes dormant passions in his Stakhanovite team of brain and brawn. Before long, her impassioned drive foments tensions that slowly bubble up to the surface, unwittingly putting at risk the entire operation.
