The Kingdom

In the Kingdom of Kalayaan, Lakan Makisig (Vic Sotto) must decide which of his three children will succeed him on the throne. His son Magat Bagwis (Sid Lucero) is known for his volatile nature, while his daughter Dayang Matimyas (Cristine Reyes) is in conflict with him due to her love affair with a political rival. His favored daughter, Dayang Lualhati (Sue Ramirez), is abducted on her wedding day to a Thai prince. Though Matimyas suspects the Tiwalag group, Lualhati is ultimately rescued by Sulo (Piolo Pascual), an outcast. As they return, Lualhati questions her father's leadership and vows to seek reform. Sulo, however, faces grave accusations, leading him to take drastic action with potential consequences for the kingdom's future.
