The Phantom

Filmmakers Rocío and Rosario are commissioned to make a standard biographical documentary about the late avant-garde artist Rubén Santantonín, who died young and destroyed his remaining works. Their project requires them to collaborate with his contemporary, renowned conceptual artist David Lamelas, who plays himself. As they interview experts, Lamelas develops a more ambitious plan, frustrating the filmmakers. Revisiting his memories and Santantonín’s life, he begins to question his own motivations.
