At 17, Jérémie Otis (Antoine L'Écuyer) dreams of a better place, far from the family sawmill and from his native village in the Bas-Saint-Laurent. Jérémie is more interested in his car, hip-hop, and hanging out with friends than forestry work. This disheartens his father Régis (Roy Dupuis), who blames a local drug dealer for his son's lack of motivation. When the oldest brother leaves, Jérémie and Régis lives are turned upside down.
