The Time Machine

George a young scientist builds a time machine and on December 31 1899 travels to 1917 where World War I rages. Distressed as a pacifist he advances to the 1940s and another terrible war then 1966 when London is destroyed in a nuclear explosion. Sealed by molten lava he escapes in 802,701 among Elois behaving like mindless sheep. Befriending Weena (Yvette Mimieux) he learns humankind has forgotten all that it has learned through the centuries preferring to frolic endlessly under the sun but this future may be the most dangerous of all his journeys.
