    French Intelligence Agent Andre Devereaux becomes embroiled in Cold War politics by uncovering events leading up to the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. An American CIA agent (John Forsythe) hires French operative (Frederick Stafford) to travel to Cuba and investigate rumors of Russian missiles and Topaz, a NATO spy. The inquiry spins into a life-threatening web of espionage, betrayal, and murder as they expose an international ring passing NATO secrets to the Soviet Union.
