Trois camarades

In postwar Berlin, three German veterans open a repair shop amid poverty and uncertainty. Erich (Robert Taylor) finds unexpected love with the frail Patricia (Margaret Sullavan), an impoverished Englishwoman whose vitality gives their lives new meaning. Gottfried (Robert Young) joins an outlawed anti-nationalist group, while Otto (Franchot Tone) meets each day with worldly cynicism. Through the hardships ahead, the three men remain comrades.
