Tryptych

In post-war Uzbekistan, three women grapple with rigid traditional social norms in their quest for emancipation. One defies convention by building a house while her husband is absent, an act deemed improper. Another, a dedicated teacher, champions progressive ideas that clash with her village's deep-seated conservatism. The eldest still endures the lingering pain of a forced marriage from her youth, as all three fiercely struggle against societal constraints.
