Tsuma no kokoro

In a small Japanese town, a determined young woman (Hideko Takamine) tirelessly works to save enough money to realize her dream of opening her own coffee shop. Her plans are derailed when her family uses her savings to pay for her sister's wedding, forcing her to seek a loan to keep her dream alive. As she navigates this financial arrangement, tension arises with her husband, who grows suspicious of the intentions of the loan officer (Toshiro Mifune), casting a shadow over her pursuit of independence and stability.
