Young jockey Krzysiek dreams of a stellar sports career, culminating in Poland's premier event, the Great Warsaw Race. Entering the horse racing world with naive enthusiasm, he soon uncovers a web of dependencies, powerful interests, and manipulated outcomes. As communism falls, igniting hope for a brighter, fairer future, Krzysiek believes he can reform the corrupt system. Yet in this realm of foul play and big money, staying untainted proves challenging. Will he resist temptation and a quick rise, and how much will he sacrifice to dismantle the entrenched corruption?
