1940 Drama
1h 5min
Having left New York's East Side slums for California's sunny valleys, the Dead End Kids seek a quick buck until Grey challenges Halop to prove himself. He and Hall soon work on the ranch of elderly Italian woman Galli, who treats her workers like human beings. When Halop tries to convince her he is her long lost infant son in order to share her wealth, her goodness inspires him to abandon greed for respect and devise a plan to deliver her crops to market against a conspiracy by truckers and a labor organization.
