The Thin Red Line

The story of an Army battalion, Charlie Company, (led by a colonel played by Nolte) that is preparing to invade a Japanese stronghold on the jungle island of Guadalcanal against tremendous odds. As they wade through the terrain towards their objective, the soldiers are plagued by fear and dread. This is the true story of one of the greatest battles of World War II.
