An American in Paris

Ex-GI Gene Kelly stays in Paris after WWII to make it as an artist and finds himself torn between urchin Leslie Caron (in her film debut) and wealthy Nina Foch. Kelly choreographed the show-stopping numbers, set to the music of the Gershwin brothers.
