Careless Rapture

Penniless showgirl Eve Peabody (Claudette Colbert) arrives in Paris with only a gold lamé gown and enlists cab driver Tibor (Don Ameche) to drive her between clubs in search of work. Realizing Tibor is falling for her, she attends a charity concert and meets Georges (John Barrymore), posing as a Hungarian baroness to enter high society. The scheming aristocrat enlists her to disrupt his wife’s affair while the lovestruck driver refuses to let her go.
