    Sam Cleary, treize ans (Javon "Wanna" Walton), soupçonne que son voisin mystérieusement reclus, M. Smith (Sylvester Stallone), est en réalité le légendaire justicier Samaritain, qui a été déclaré mort il y a 25 ans. Alors que la criminalité est en hausse et que la ville est au bord du chaos, Sam fait de sa mission de convaincre son voisin de sortir de sa cachette pour sauver la ville de la ruine.
